About the Company:
A listed corporate enterprise manages a large-scale capital portfolio alongside diverse consumer-facing operating subsidiaries across New Zealand and Australia. 

Over the last 5 years, the business has evolved its offerings and built a strong reputation for the quality of its “products”. 

As well as being listed, they have significant institutional investors backing the business.

As their head office remains relatively small, ELT members are involved in a diverse range of projects and initiatives

About the Role:
As CFO you’ll drive total financial strategy, continuous disclosure, and capital allocation across a multi-entity group structure. Partner closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Board to optimise debt facilities, evaluate opportunities and safeguard internal control environments. 
Key Responsibilities

• Drive group financial strategy, funding structures, and continuous disclosure compliance
• Lead engagement with banking partners, capital markets, and key stakeholders
• Deliver robust financial modelling to evaluate major capital allocation decisions
• Oversee financial control across corporate pipelines and operating subsidiaries
• Optimise group treasury, foreign exchange exposure, and tax compliance frameworks

So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile?

• CA or similar qualification with proven executive financial leadership capabilities
• Expertise navigating listed statutory reporting and corporate governance standards
• Listed experience is a huge plus.
• Track record in capital-intensive, project-based, or commercial operating environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across Board, investor, and audit functions
• Commercial focus with strong capabilities in debt structuring and capital management
